Rescue Diver
Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver. It’s challenging, yet very rewarding.
The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you’ll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the five open water sessions, you’ll cover: Self-rescue and diver stress, dive first aid, emergency management and equipment, swimming and non-swimming assists, panicked diver response, underwater problems, missing diver procedures, surfacing the unconscious diver, inwater artificial respiration, egress (exits), first aid procedures for pressure related accidents, dive accident scenarios.
The PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all Professional level PADI courses, beginning with the PADI Divemaster certification.

Equipment
As a dive professional, you’ll want to have all your basic scuba equipment, including a dive computer, a dive knife, and at least two surface signaling devices. During practical skills exercises, like underwater mapping and search and recovery, you’ll use a compass, floats, marker buoys, lift bags and slates. Your PADI Instructor may suggest additional gear that will be useful throughout your diving career.
Theory lessons

Practical lessons:
Its what you have been waiting for! It’s now time to go underwater! In your first confined water immersion you will be developing and improving all the variety of skills necessary to scuba dive safely, our top priority. The confined open water sessions are shore dives at the most secluded beach spot. At your pace and when your Instructor feels you are ready to go open water, then you will enter confidently into the amazing Caribbean underwater Kingdom. Enjoy the ride!
